Standing Oak Insurance was founded to restore a traditional, client first manner of advising, specifically, one grounded in integrity, skillful knowledge, and practicality. After years of watching complexity masquerade as sophistication, our goal was a return to fundamentals: clear explanations, disciplined analysis, and recommendations that fit real lives, not glossy brochures. We believe trust is earned through consistent, transparent conduct and advice that respects a client’s time, goals, and risk tolerance. That old fashioned ethic guides every conversation, every comparison, and every signature.


From the start, we chose insurance and advising longevity over high commission products and short term schemes. The outcome, our processes now evaluate protection first, then growth, which allows cash-flow resilience. As a firm, we prefer durable solutions such as proper risk transfer, sensible benefit design, and retirement income strategies that are understandable, adjustable, and built to last. Thus, the marketplace does contain many good insurance agencies and wealth managers; still, we saw a gap: conservative retirement planning based on reality, not “what-if” scenarios, that serves pre-retirees and those early in post-retirement who want stability they can measure and maintain.
